Welcome to our Website!

Did you know…?

There are over 6.5 million people in the UK

who are registered disabled.

500,000 of those are wheelchair users

1 million people in the UK are blind or partially sighted

One in four households will have at least one disabled member.

The aim of our group is to let children come together regardless of ability.  We feel that is important not to focus on the disability, but instead to concentrate on the person inside.

PHAB stands for (PH) Physically Disabled, (AB) Able Bodied. Many of our members have

different disabilities, but many of our members don't—our aim is to allow everyone

to be involved, regardless of their ability.

As a group, we work in the St. Albans area in Hertfordshire.  We have a wide range of members from a variety of different backgrounds who can all come together and enjoy activities with friends and family alike!

We meet during most of the school holidays and organise all sorts of events —for more details on our past activities check out our “Past Activities” page!

As a group that looks after children, we have a strict child protection policy in place to ensure the safety of all, as well as a comprehensive health and safety policy.  We also have a fundraising policy in place to raise funds for the group. To see these policies, click here!

We hope you enjoy having a look around our website, it you have any further questions please contact us.
