Fundraising Policy |

Of course, all our activities need to have funding, and we are very grateful to all those that have helped with this, but we are always looking at ways to improve our funding to make sure we can continue with all this great fun. So what can you do? Do you want to be sponsored with anything – this can be something grand like a marathon run or parachute drop, or something small that you and a few friends arrange – like toddler biking in the park or selling cakes at a car boot sale. We will support you in any way we can whether you need some publicity, want to “gift aid” the money, or just want to talk to someone about your ideas. Are you connected with a club, or charity that fundraises? Or do you go to a school which has charity events – like non-uniform days etc.? If so please find out if we can come and talk about our club. We can bring some nice visual images, give a 10 minute talk about what we do and then answer any questions in an informal discussion. We also like to come back later to tell the group how we spent the money. Contact Allan Maher or Marion Jones if you want to talk about any of these. |
